LOC Students will be inviting all kids to a Movie Night in the Main Sanctuary on Saturday, May 11, from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM.

We'll have pizza, popcorn and other snacks and enjoy a movie together. Wear your comfy clothes and bring a sleeping bag for the ultimate experience. Please register by Wednesday, May 8!

LOC Students will gather at 8:30 AM at the church on Saturday, April 13, to prepare breakfast for our friends in PrimeTime! Once we're all wrapped up here, we'll head over to Parkview and help with some chores around the property. Our goal is to be back at the church by 4 PM for pick-up.

Please register by Wednesday, April 10, so we can have enough transportation for everyone.

How we live it out.

Service.

We take what we learn in worship and small groups and let it move us outside. We participate in service projects year-round in Charlotte and have a mission trip each year. This summer we will do access projects with Carolina Cross Connection from June 16-22.

If you are interested in attending, please reach out to taylor@locumc.org.

Retreats.

We have a High School Leadership Retreat and a Middle School Retreat each year. We take our High Schoolers to Asheville to talk about Advocacy and how we can bring justice to Charlotte. Our time together is spent discussing what we want our student ministry to be/do in the coming year. In the winter, we take our Middle School to the mountains to snow tube. We spend time talking about how to strengthen our relationship with Jesus.
